Personally I consider myself the coolest teacher on MD, but I guess it's a matter of opinion and/or cultural acquaintance. There's definitely at least two or three less cool than me anyway.
I had to do this as well. Though I passed on the standing-on-the-shrine-like-a-tit part.
Though I'm always tempted to drill the elementary students with the subjunctive and a huge list of irregular verbs, usually I make do with this kind of thing.
I'd partake in this sort of Western-style drinking session a hell of a lot more often if it didn't cost 150 quid just to get to the Okinawan mainland. Gaah.
